Is it just me?

I'm finding that trying to update, install or just access the mirror list of repositories is incredibly slow.. 5-10Kbs a second for example?

For me, it's been like this for the past few days - just accessing the repositories from the package manager, generally internet and browsing ...

Gave up trying to work it out.. it must have been something basic as it would happen without anything running at all, I'd log in, leave the laptop on for a bit, come back in 20 minutes and "max clients reached" so have given up on that, downloaded and installed last build as of yesterday Dec 4.(was ...

It happens without Chrome Running,
However, i thought it might be something similar with firefox, so I've done the same. Start without extensions and go one by one.
