Rosa 2012.1 problems

Hi there, i'm using Rosa 2012.1 since first alpha and everything works perfect till kernels 3.6.x and kde 4.9.4. About new kernel cpupower service and kernel variables can't start.

cpupower not need because ondemand governor enabled by default. See cpupower frequency-info

If not, uncomment /etc/sysconfig/cpupower string

# CPUPOWER_START_OPTS="frequency-set -g performance"
# CPUPOWER_STOP_OPTS="frequency-set -g ondemand"

and set needing governor...

For some AMD GPU and P4 processors need install powernowd

urpmi powernowd

and reboot

All bugs will be resolved after release in updates - it's not system-broken, but system-user-output-horror like cpupower and atd with networkmanager

For QT please add bug to Bugzilla - in forum maintainer may not be present..

OK, ty again. I was using Mandriva since 2009 in all stable and cooker versions till last completely broken cooker and was very surprised to see Rosa like Mandriva continuers. The Distro is simple, beautiful, powerful, useful and most user-friendly, ty to developers for this good work.

I can notice strange cursor changes. In KDM cursor is Rosa, when KDE loading cursor is changed to my choose and then again reset to ROSA. When start KDE application like Dolphin cursor again is my choose. In some situation looks between ROSA and my choose, happen with every choose. My ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc is

One strange bug from kde 4.9.4 till now 4.9.5 with flicker display instead of dimming -> https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311480 it's sill no fixed? When plasma will be updated?

Due this upstream bug - question will need be place in KDE bugzilla... Also you may try disable brightness change in Power mode control.
