We initially planned to release ROSA Desktop 2012 first beta on 3 of october, yesterday, but unfortunately due to some problems there will be a delay.
fresh kernel 3.5.5, new livecd-tools with test UEFI support, KDE updates as well as some other bugs + bugfixes resulted in a not so good ISO image as we wanted. ( While i personally like it and already use at one of my workstations ). It boots on most hardware and looks good ( imho ), but we decided to take some time for polishing and fixing the most nasty bugs. Sorry for the delay, as far as i know we hope to release beta on Monday, 8th of October. =)

We are releasing Alpha 2 instead of Beta. See the renewed Roadmap and wait for the details on today's announce.
