Strange things going on today.

First I get this after update:

Код: Выделить всё

The following packages have bad signatures:
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/drakx-finish-install-13.61-14-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm: Invalid Key ID (OK (DSA/SHA1, Wed 15 Aug 2012 03:20:09 PM CEST, Key ID 409d3f00261e1b28))
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/drakxtools-13.61-14-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm: Invalid Key ID (OK (DSA/SHA1, Wed 15 Aug 2012 03:20:03 PM CEST, Key ID 409d3f00261e1b28))

/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/harddrake-13.61-14-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm: Invalid Key ID (OK (DSA/SHA1, Wed 15 Aug 2012 03:20:09 PM CEST, Key ID 409d3f00261e1b28))
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/harddrake-ui-13.61-14-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm: Invalid Key ID (OK (DSA/SHA1, Wed 15 Aug 2012 03:20:09 PM CEST, Key ID 409d3f00261e1b28))
OK, happens sometimes, so I added --force switch and tried again

sudo urpmi --auto-update --auto --force
Updates with bad signatures were installed without any problem, but at the end got this strange message:

More information on package mandriva-release-common-2012.0-8-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64

You can find the release notes in /usr/share/doc/mandriva-release-common/release-notes-en.txt

or on the web at http://wiki.rosalab.ru/en/index.php/Release_notes_ROSA_Marathon_2012

Same message in Russian was displayed after this one.

I am confused. :o

Would someone please explain what's happened? I really would like to understand this.

Big thanks for report. 64 bit package was not be signed :( Now it's fix.

We update installer, adding feature for release info in different language, not only russian. Message will be appear, because release-common need be update, but for verson may be some difference, because 2012 LST == 2012.0, and next release will be 2012.1, it's normal.

We fix it later and this message will not scare you in future.

Thank you for explanation. Everything you wrote is exactly what I suspected. 8)

I already used some packages that are not signed (or have wrong signatures), so I was not surprised with the fact that signatures are not good. On the other hand bad package signature in official repo is not something that we see often, so I had to react.

Message from release-common is something that I would expect to get after first update, not now. :) But I guess that you had to update release-common as part of that new change logs feature that ДроноваЮ mentioned few days ago.

btw. I am not scared by messages in Russion. I might forgot most things that I learnt in school, but I still can understand some things in Russian. :)

Why are most of the packages named starting with mandriva?

Why 'most'? I have only 15 packages with 'mandriva' word installed in my system. This comes from historical reasons - names of configs, themes, icons, etc.
