Падения plasmashel

Играю в FreeCol 1.2.0, и уже, примерно, 2 месяца наблюдаю как идет падение плазмы. Именно, во время игры, играю во что-то другое, или занимаюсь другим - не падает. Раньше она просто падала и восстанавливалась (перезагружалась), указывая на падение. Но после вчерашнего обновления, сегодня упала и не восстановилась. Пришлось выйти из системы и зайти заново. Так как игра на jAVA, возможно, это не просто сбой из-за игры, а сбой из-за не согласования действий плазмы и Java... А как дебаггировать системные компоненты (плазму), я пока не знаю... alt+space (или alt+f2) -> ввести "plasmashell" -> нажать enter

После того, как plasmashell стала практически каждый раз вылетать, после того как перезагружалась на ошибках, я решил сегодня перезапуск провести через gdb... Plasma не перезагрузилась, не рухнула, просто зависла, но снять отработку gdb получилось (после того, как вручную выключил/включил plasmashell

Как это лечится не знаю... Повторяю эти проблемы с Plasmashell на фоне игры в FreeCol 1.2.0 . В следующий раз попробую сделать gdb еще... Может на чем то другом вылетит...

Может быть проблема в libheif.so.1 и надо скомпилировать новую версию
У меня не работает из реп, так что можно попробовать собрать CMake из исходников под свой CPU (без агрессивных оптимизаций);

sudo make install
Качаем исходник https://github.com/strukturag/libheif , распаковываем и из папки:

mkdir build
cd build
cmake --preset=release ..
make
sudo make install
По крайней мере у меня собралось и установилось без проблем.

Возможно... Но откуда эта либа... Для чего... Какие зависимости... Она из системных и менять ее самому не стоит... Надо ждать ее обновления...

Из пакета lib64heif1.
Я скомпилировал, установил, и всё нормально с системой. На всякий случай на такие случаи есть снимки системы.
Всё же это лучше, чем гадать.
