I just can't read any youtube videos although shockwave flash plugin was installed. The video window remains black, don't understand why.

If it's YouTube issue only, you may try to switch to html5 here:

Possibly including noscript

Not a noscript problem.
I don't see what flashy is but the plugin is already installed.
Weirder, html5 or not, same problem.
Testing with Opera is even worse, it says the plugin failed.

solved by downgrading libflashplayer.so to version 10_3r183_29
