rosa here to stay

is rosa marathon here to stay? if/and mandriva decides to come back with a new release will rosa still stay? i know rosa and mandriva are 2 differn't distros but doesn't rosa work with mandriva too? i hope rosa continues. i love this distro everything works and i appreciate the work rosa put into this release..

Actually they are not two different distros. ROSA IS Mandriva-based historically, and at the moment ROSA is remix of Mandriva.

hmm thats what i was thinking.. thank u for the info.. rosa marathon seems like mandriva 2011 remixed to perfection..mandrivas been my fav distro forever but mdv 2011 was a nightmare for me..

powerpack took over 90 mins to install slowest install ever with mdv.. but that was ok.. then no wireless first time powerpack had no wireless for my atheros wifi out the box..so i hooked it up wired and still no connection.. so i installed one version, wireless worked on one version out the box, and then my printer would not work after i installed the right driver for it (same driver im using on rosa marathon)...then bootloader kept freezing on me on an off and left me no way of rebooting or halting my computer but i think it was a intel issue not sure..

I'm inclined to agree though there appears to be a resurgence in Mandriva/Cooker community to do something better organizationaly. Will take time and effort.
