ROSA Desktop Fresh R4 LXDE - Release Candidate and Release

Hi all,

let me introduce you Release Candidate of ROSA Desktop Fresh R4 LXDE which is now available on ROSA mirrors:

Comparing to previous release, LXDE itself has almost no changes. The set of packages included in ISO is also the same (but surely, packages from the new rosa2014.1 repositories are used).

System requirements - 256 Mb of RAM minimum, 512 Mb of RAM recommended. 6 Gb of free hard drive space should be enough for the base installation.

Feel free to try, test and provide feedback. If no critical issues are discovered, we will prepare an official release next week.

P.S. This is likely the last ISO images based on LXDE and in future we will switch to LxQt.

As far as I can see, Eugene already has a solution for that problem:)

But we decided not to wait until this particular fix - in any case, it will be installed with updates.

Well...
Booting the ISO, impossible to use directly the install option.
If I choose "Install ROSA Desktop Fresh R4" ==> I have the live logon and the installer doesn't give the possibility to select language, keybord etc so keybord and language US !!!

The issue has been identified and fixed. We will likel replace the images tomorrow. But if you are in a hurry, you can try ISO images from here:

Hi,
There are other problems
1) Application calculator : icon "annulation" and minus are missing or wrong


2) Shotwell never stores preferences configuration. The settings are not kept
