Error when trying to update

Hi - and thanks in advance for any help with this!

I've just installed Desktop.Fresh 2012 and installed, but when trying to update the software (clicking 'Update your system' in System Settings), I get the following message:
"The password you typed is invalid.
Please try again."
I haven't been give the opportunity to enter a password, the error dialogue just appears!

Any ideas? Wrong repos enabled? Something else? Thanks!

Is you enter corret root password?

Run Konsole, than type

and password that you set in install stage

May you login as root ?
