Crack-Attack won't play in R9 Plasma

I tried to install crack-attack and its depends from the R9 Plasma repos. It installs fine, but when I click on it to play the game just blinks and does nothing. Same when I run it from a terminal.

Any thoughts?

Mapquest Directions Have you tried installing it from Flatpak, Snap, or compiling it from source instead of the repo?
