How do I apply this kernel patch to fix my dongle problem?
I have Rosa Fresh R11.1

As per https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60824#c69 , this patch does not work, so I do not see sense in adding it to the distro package of the kernel.
You can try yourself to rebuild the package https://abf.io/import/kernel-5.4 adding any patch.

I use 5.4.32-generic-2rosa-x86_64, but do not know how to patch or rebuild the kernel.
I use Rosa 3-4 years now and never had any problems before.
As for the patch I see that some users have reported that it is actually working for them.

Thank you for the information even if it means no chance to get my dongle up and running.
