I want to know which would be faster to use. If you loaded the iso. to a USB flash drive are burned it to a DVD.
I want to use the Orosa release to work with but not to install it. I use about 7 computers around the Home are
Shop. If I just use it Live and save my work to a USB drive then I could use it that way with all the computers.

As I understand, we should compare some 'seek time' benchmarks, and as I know, FAT on live-usb will be far more faster than ISO on DVDs. Didn't google for exact data, though.

Use USB Flash is much faster than DVD. You can use a flash and save your data on it. But in order to store all the data on this flash, you need to burn the ISO image Unetbootin. Do not use the "dd".

Thanks for the replies back. What wanted to do was install ROSA the fastest way.
I had tried with it on DVD and it would freeze-up everytime.
