I need to install LAMP stack in rosa linux. I searched online to find a procedure to follow. It involves installation of .tar.gz files, which requires the usage of commands like,

./configure

make

make install.

I would be thankful if anyone could give me the step by step procedure in installing a .tar.gz file in rosa desktop R6.

Also, refer me a perfect location which guides me in installing the LAMP / LEMP stack in rosa R6.
