Show external devices on PXE clients (LTSP)

Hi there 
The german ubuntu wiki explains, that KDEs device manager and Dolphin is not able to show usb sticks
and such on PXE (LTSP) booted ThinClients, they mean, only Nautilus can do that.
Is this correct ?
