webmin не работает.

Хочу вебмин. Не работает. что делать кто виноват как быть?

[root@owner-EB1007 ~]# urpmi webmin

Устанавливается webmin-1.650-3-rosa2014.1.noarch.rpm из /var/cache/urpmi/rpms

[root@owner-EB1007 ~]#
ругается на 36 строчку. в 36 стрчке /etc/rc.d/init.d/webmin вызов /etc/webmin/start но увы /etc/webmin пуст.

webmin 1.650-3 уже сильно не нов.

берем свежак. 1.730-1 с сайта webmin

When installing the Webmin RPM, I get the error message Unable to identify operating system

This happens if Webmin cannot identify your OS by looking at your /etc/issue file, possibly because it has been changed from the default contents. The best solution is to install the .tar.gz version of Webmin, which asks for the OS name and version manually.

беда не столько в идентификации, оно иногда centos и ubuntu не узнает. пишет что generic linux или common linux. но ставится и работает, хотя часть модулей приходится вручную подцеплять.
