Hello,

i have installed pipelight it don't works i try different ways to activate pipelight-plugin --enable pipelight but don't install the Plugin does anybody can help?

I'm investigating this. It worked some time ago but now it doesn't.

Update. What video driver do you use? Proprietary nvidia or fglrx? Looks like PIPELIGHT_GPUACCELERATION option (when enabled) makes browsers crash with some drivers.

Even more, it looks like __GL_WRITE_TEXT_SECTION option with nvidia blob breaks PIPELIGHT_GPUACCELERATION and Pipelight doesn't work.

Pipelight is a special browser plugin which allows one to use windows only plugins inside Linux browsers. We are currently focusing on Silverlight, Flash, Shockwave and the Unity Webplayer. The project needs a patched version of Wine to execute the Silverlight DLL.

After installing Pipelight, you will need to enable the plugins you want to use. By default all plugins are disabled and you need to enable them through the pipelight-plugin script. Enabling a plugin is as easy as executing the following command in your terminal:

pipelight-plugin --enable pluginname

Ostatnio zainstalowałem pipelight i okazało się że firefox nie widzi zainstalowanych wtyczek silverlight, aby to naprawić należy wykorzystać następujące polecenie:

Recently installed pipelight and it turned out that firefox does not see the Silverlight plugin installed to fix it, use the following command:
as root

oczywiście jako root

Na końcu restart firefox-a

Restart Firefox, then: Tools-> Add-ons->
