Guys, has anyone played with cups-pdf? After downloading and installation, I was able to create the pdf printer in cups following instructions found in Google. I have tried many things but cannot get the output redirect to work. All output goes to /var/spool/cups. Naturally this is only accessible to the root user.

I have looked at permissions, and altered the pdf-cups.conf file a number of times. Unfortunately the printed out put does not respect this setting i.e. Out ${HOME}/Cups-pdf or Out ${DESKTOP} is not working.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?
