I have a problem with the installation of Firefox 23. During the installation I get the error:

Hello,
There is still no FF 23 in the ROSA Fresh repos, to begin with. 22 only. So please describe the way you're trying to install it.

Since you have MIB repos enabled, please do the following:
1) disable all MIB repos (and may be other third-party repos, if you have them)
2) update the system
3) try to instal FF23
4) report it back

I was forced to install the system again. Firefox installed correctly. The problem arose during the installation Chromnium. There is a need to update the 100 packets. What kind of graphic hardware you have? which drivers you were using on previous installation?
run
from console, select vesa and reboot into X to be able to fix the system. Report back

Looks like a problem with KDM. By typing in the terminal
I get the message "no file or directory". Change the vesa driver or install the nvidia driver does not solve the problem. In the evening, try to install the same package KDM or kdebase4-workspace

Your system is seriuosly broken, I'm afraid
does all this happen after fresh reinstall? if yes, consider checking your hard disk

Rosa at this setup has been running for a long time. The problem appears when you try to update Firefox. I will describe step by step what I do. After a clean install of the system works perfectly. Updates by adding only the official media. When installing any applications (eg, clementine, chromium) get the information needed to update rpmdrake. When you press ok I get an upgrade more than 100 packages. After the installation is prompted to reboot. After restarting does not start the graphical environment. After typing startx as root appears black background. I can see the cursor (it can move) and that's it.

Please post /var/log/Xorg.0.log after trying startx from user. Which graphical card or cards do you have?

I solved the problem in a different way. I install packages using the terminal and everything works. I do not have the time to deal with. I need to have a working system. I do not know why using the graphical user interface (installation packages) when you install any program I need to install additional packages. The problem does not occur at the installation from the console. (installs only the packages needed to run the program)
