Salut,
J'ai un petit soucis actuellement : les applis qui doivent se lancer en root (gparted, services, etc...) ne le font plus. Un clic de souris sur l'icone ne me demande pas de mot de passe root, donc l'appli ne se lance pas.
Solution de contournement, la konsole en root et là ça fonctionne.
Une solution ?

kde-rootactions-servicemenu est-il installé ?

Pour savoir si kde-rootactions-servicemenu est bien installé sur mon poste, il va falloir attendre ce soir car là je suis au taf

Some strange error with latest usermod update. For fix try go to /etc/pam.d and roon (from root CLI)

chmod -x *

Thane try run gparted

P.S. What applications has similar problem?

The problem appeared with the last(s) update(s). My wife's machine on which I have not done the update(s) yet, is not affected.

Running the command "drakconf" (for instance) from Konsole, reads the following message =>

"Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/50-user.conf", line 9: reading configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated."

...and a tiny window with "unknown error" appears.

Besides, launching "drakconf" from its icon produces the same tiny window of error.

To be noted that the whole control center (old Mandriva Control Center) doesn't take now the QT appearance (don't know if concerning the same failure...)

Drakconf not work and not support and for avoid problem we drop it soon. Please use only CLI for run needing utilites or utilites from KDE System Center - all other things not supported and will be drop soon also (like draknetcenter, drakroam and other old Mandriva things).

Unfortunately, the day you drop "drak" stuff, I change for Mageia !

Moi ça me va très bien le KDE center, ça me semble très logique d'y regrouper tous les outils de configuration. Ce soir, j'essayerais les solutions de akdengi (mise à jour de gparted si besoin, et chmod -x * dans le dossier /etc/pam.d en root) et je rapporterai les résultats ici.

I fixed drakconf-legacy and now it works with latest usermode update, but 1/2 drakx instrumenst not fixed (and not need be fix). Drakxnet not work - we use NM. Some things for Grub not need - we use grub2 and has instruments for it's change in all supported DE. What reason support old and non-working properly instrument? Our point of view - all system setiings in on DE configure place.

We done big update usermod, needing for next big update (move /var/run and /var/log to run) that fixed many errors with non-deleted PID (after this fancontrol, lirc and other services will start without error after restart). If some error uppear (we try fix more problem, but some may be appear) - say about and we fix it as soon as possible.

Ce n'était pas installé, je l'ai donc installé, mais rien ne change

[root@localhost pam.d]# chmod -x *

Delete system-config-services - it's not need (drakxservice works fine).

L'installation de la dernière version a résolu le problème

Bon la dernière version de gparted est bugguée chez moi, pas moyen de formater en ext2, ext3 ou fat32, seul le ext3 que j'ai tenté a abouti favorablement. Je suis donc revenu à la version précédente, à lancer d'une console root, pas d'autre moyen...

Par contre, lorsque je lance en root gparted d'une console (su -), le formatage ne donne les droits d'écriture que pour root et pas pour les utilisateurs. Comment faire autrement ?

Please give screenshot where is not unable format to ext2/fat32. For me all work ok with new package.
