I just installed Rosa linux with lxde. After installation the system informed me that propeitary nvidia drivers are available so i installed them. Now the xorg server does not start because it says that the nvidia module is missing. What should i do?
Any help would be appreciated.

First, run to restore whatever working settings you had.
The X log would be helpful here, please post /var/log/Xorg.0.log from you failed boot. And what card do you have?

I have a nvidia 7400 go card.

Xfdrake restores to the same configuration and the x server does not work after doing so. It basically says that nvidia module is not available and it is not able to find any screens.

I think i should reinstall and use nouveau only.
