Boot edit help after kernel upgrade, & urpmi history [solved
Добавлено: 26 авг 2012, 19:24
Hello,
I have two questions. I did a Rosa update in the past month and now have the following in my boot menu boot after kernel upgrate:
linux (/boot/vmlinuz)
linux-nonfb (/boot/vmlinuz)
windows (/dev/sda1)
3.0.28-nrj-desktop-2rosa.lts
3.0.38-nrj-desktop-1rosa.lts
I have been scrolling down to kernel x.x.38, latest upgrade, as it so far seems stable. I am wondering how I can edit the boot entries so the kernel 3.0.38 is the default. I move it up to top, correct? So then I can delete the top two entries as well as the fifth entry down from top, (3.0.28)?
Second questions is how does one view package update/install history using command line? I couldn't find history in the software management GUI.
Thank you for your time!
Lisa
