How can i install a newer version of the hplip driver for HP Printer ? I have download some packets from ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.mandriva. ... n/testing/ ..... it seems to be okay. Is there an better /easyer way ?

The shortest and most correct way would be to file a bug on our bugzilla in the "feature request" section.
