New KDM version is available,
Its main graphical component - list of users was completely reworked and rewritten in QML, which increased speed of animation and allowed to implement it like user feed (carousel). Thus the problem of not showing a complete list of users when they do not fit in the width of the screen is solved. Now you can scroll users by closed circle.
You can install it from here:

kdm-4.8.3-3.

Well kdm-4.8.3-3 installed; The first boot and shutdown was very very long (don't know why) but the following were normal
I've got only 3 users, I remarks that now it's the full user's name (GECOS) that is proposed instead of the account user's name
All works fine at this time

How do you make a screenshot of KDM?
I tried to /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0 write "sleep 20 && import -window root /tmp/1.jpg" but nothing happened.

LOL Easy !!! I also have ROSA 2012 installed in VirtualBox to make some tests before proceeding on my desktop

I've been doing screenshots of KDM but ... I do not remember how to do it.

The last official update is blocking because of this kdm specific version

According to our devs, here one file was packaged twice. They said they would correct it, so you'll have to wait a little before trying again.

urpmi.addmedia test http://abf.rosalinux.ru/downloads/rosa2012lts/container/kdebase4-workspace-295684/RPMS/
and try to update again.
If it's ok, then disable this repo after updating and live happily again.
Update will be sent to main repos shortly.
