Hello all,
I hope someone can answer these questions I have regarding ROSA 2012. :)

1) Will ROSA 2012 upgrade to KDE 4.9 when it becomes available, or will it stay with KDE 4.8?
2) What is everyone's opinion on Nepomuk? I haven't enabled it myself for SimpleWelcome's Timeframe, but I've read that it can use more resources than necessary.
3) Can anyone recommend a good IDE or editor for Python3?

It's hard to say for sure now. Maybe we'll update KDE4 4.8.4 to 4.9.3 or 4.9.4. But I really don't think we'll push early 4.9.x packages to 2012 LTS updates. In general it depends on 4.9.x quality - lack of regressions etc.

Nepomuk was optimized quite much recently. So perhaps it's not a problem anymore.

Eric5 is known to be good IDE for Python3. But I haven't tried it myself as I use mostly QtCreator / C++ for programming. :)

Pulfer,
Thank you kindly for all of your answers. I gave in and decided to enable Nepomuk, and it really doesn't use all that much RAM. System Monitor reports that it is only using 26.6mb of my 8gb of RAM. It is good to see that resource usage of KDE as a whole has improved a great deal since I last used it (version 4.6). Eric5 is also a good IDE for Python, thanks for the recommendation. :D
