unable to update after 4.1.34 nrj

Hi

I am using HP DV6 Notebook with Rosa Linux 4.1.34-nrj-desktop-2rosa-x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT

After the last update to 4.1.34 the system does not update, it always freezes when starting the update process after displaying the update window as in the attached screen shot and even when trying to install or remove software. The update process can not be stopped or killed even with kill command.

Any solution...

I tried to do that using "rpm --rebuilddb" and some other methods I found on the net but did not work. Is there any method you can help with...

I would try to launch rpmdrake from Konsole and read there the errors that are generated

Attached is an image after running rpmdrake and it also started the software management application which froze as before.

Hi and thank you for the help I found this article about restoring the rpm db helpful and it help me restore the rpm db on my laptop with a little changes..
