touchpad not working

i just install rosa kde like it very much. everything worked for a while but the touchpad stopped working. I need to use a usb mouse to navigate. i am a newbie to linux .is there is a way to fix this issue?

Try install new version of kernel

Log in as root (type su in Konsole, then the root password) and enter these two commands:

for i586:

for x64:

urpmi.addmedia kernel4.4 http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/kernels_stable_personal/repository/rosa2014.1/x86_64/kernel_4_4/release/ --update

urpmi kernel-nrj-desktop-4.4-latest

Reboot.

(To switch back to the previous kernel, just select it in the menu of grub — the menu which appears first when booting).

Thanks for the help. i tried the new kernel but the same result, still no working touchpad

I re-install rosa worked for while .done the updates then later i close the lid and woke the system later and the samething happen the touchpad did not work no more

I did try the best I can but no luck So i will go back to mint to bad !
