Yes, but why? You can add it at any time again.

Do you think I install it once and never update again? Keeping the repo I could receive new updates from it if there is any. On Ubuntu/Debian, we rarely remove a repo once we added it.

Don't know about this bug. But this value of swappiness is not right. It should be set to 60. Why the number 25 was chosen from the beginning? Is there any reasons behind it or it's just poor default?

Just find out engrampa with thunar archive plugin is unreliable when splitting file.

With the 7z format even if we chose a different part size it still default to 2G each part.

Maybe file-roller a better substitute? file-roller dragged in many dependencies compared to engrampa.

xarchiver is unreliable. engrampa is more full featured and lightweight enough. When you extract an archive using xarchiver, it will be silent as nothing happening until the archive is actually extracted. With engrampa, at least you have a progress bar show up to know that it's doing something.
