It appears that the install-to-hard-drive routine is not quite finished, at least not for an EFI installation.

I'll check back in a little while. I know this is just an alpha release.

Yes, I did have the non-UEFI ISO. I used the one you provided a link for, and the live DVD boots via UEFI and operates fine. I haven't succeeded in installing Rosa to my hard drive, however. I'll keep trying. I got a grub error the first time. I'll post again with more specifics if it happens again ...

Your Linux distro looks very enticing. I was especially eager to give it
a try on my UEFI-only machine. I burned the DVD from this file:

ROSA.2012.Desktop.Alpha2.x86_64.iso

which had the correct md5sum value.
